I am a social anthropologist, specialised in material culture, trained at University College London, and currently based at University of Bucharest.
At the centre of my work is a preoccupation for materialities and material agencies.
I have started from the minor material registers of fakes, bobbles, fashionable attire and plastics, and have contributed original insights to anthropological debates on authenticity, aesthetics and ethics, value and the good life.
